The city of Tianjin has a history of 610 years, from 1404, the 2nd year of Yongle Emperor’s reign in the Ming Dynasty, to 2014. Weather
Tianjin, near the Bohai Bay, has obvious marine climate. It enjoys four distinct seasons a year. It is windy and arid with little rain in spring, hot and rainy in summer, full of fresh air and moderate in temperature in autumn, and cold and arid with little snow in winter. It is hottest in July, and coldest in January. So, traveling is suitable in any season in Tianjin, and late spring, early summer and autumn are the best periods, with a genial climate, and cool and comfortable.
Food
Tianjin was named as the happiest city in China in 2008. Walking in the streets in Tianjin, you will have different feelings. Meanwhile, Tianjin is also famous for its various foods. Traffic
As one of the leading coastal cities in China, Tianjin has a very convenient transportation system. At present, Tianjin has four types of transportation: by railway, by highway, by waterway, and by air. Tianjin Airport has 81 international and domestic airlines, and 62 reachable cities. There are over six arrival and departure flights a day in the airlines to Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Qingdao, Dalian, Seoul, etc. There are four railway stations in Tianjin: Tianjin Railway Station, Tianjin West Railway Station, Tianjin South Railway Station and Tianjin North Railway Station. South Railway Station is a high-speed railway station. After its reconstruction was completed, the West Railway Station has already been put into use. There are comparatively few passengers in North Railway Station. Tianjin Port has two domestic passenger lines: Tianjin to Yantai and Tianjin to Dalian. In addition, it has two international passenger lines: Tianjin to Kobe, Japan, and Tianjin to Incheon, South Korea.
