School of Arts and Humanities

With “free and comprehensive development of human beings” as its fundamental principle of education, and based on the emphasis on communication and integration among different academic fields, School of Arts and Humanities aims at extending the students’ global perspective and cultural resources, and tries to help the students to develop a mental system characterized by subjectivity, diversity, integrity, and compatibility, through general education and various professional courses, in order that they may become international versatile talents with good health, sound mind, noble character, universal fraternity, tolerance, ability of critical thinking and creative practical ability.

Four professional directions are offered at this school: Visual Culture Planning and Management, Art History and Theories, Traditional Art Appreciation and Restoration, and Animation and Scriptwriting.
