School of Chinese Painting has a well-structured teaching faculty with enormous potentiality and in the front rank in its academic influence and artistic creation in higher education institutions in China. There are 23 incumbent teachers, including 10 professors and 5 associate professors. There are two professional directions at this school, traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy, and it is qualified to offer undergraduate, postgraduate and international programmes. The major is a state-level characteristic major construction unit, and its advantage and development potential are remarkable.
