School of Environmental and Architectural Art has developed gradually and taken shape on the basis of the former Environmental Art Design Department. The school aims to cultivate students with high morality, legal awareness, sense of credibility and integrity, solid attainments of Chinese traditional culture, literary and artistic attainments, interdisciplinary knowledge structure, modern consciousness and innovation spirit. The students are requested to pay attention to the theoretical trends and frontier subjects in the field of modern environmental and architectural design. As a result, while transmitting information by using various design elements, they will be able to enhance spiritual and cultural characters of environmental and architectural art design and spatial conceptions may be embodied completely, clearly, and harmoniously. School of Environmental and Architectural Art offers now the major of Environmental Design. This major aims at training high-quality application-oriented and research-oriented talents of environmental art with a good mastery of professional basic theory, related professional skills, creative ability, design practice ability, and the ability of project planning, operation management, teaching and scientific research.
