Based on the international vision of contemporary urban culture and the entirely new idea concerning future development, and with three interdisciplinary majors consisting of Public Environmental Space Planning and Design, Cross-Media Installations and Urban Environmental Sculpture (Spatial Modeling) Design as main majors, the school aims to train the students’ ability of art modeling and the ability of visual design. In this process the students may master the law of space modeling in the field of public landscape and public place of modern cities, so that they may acquire the ability of scientific research, of critical thinking, of practical work, and of innovative practice in the research of professional knowledge of environmental space planning, urban design, environmental aesthetics, spatial morphology, urban sculpture, etc.

The school offers the major of Public Art Department, etc.

The major of Public Art aims to train professional talents of art design combining theory with practice, and with creative capability and innovative thinking, and able to be engaged in artistic creation and visual design in indoor and outdoor public spaces to meet the needs of beautifying urban environment and humanistic care.
