Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts (TAFA) attaches great importance to international exchanges and cooperation, centering on European and American countries and expanding the “The Belt and Road” countries’ cooperation. TAFA entered successively into cooperation agreements with 31 universities and academies in 17 countries and regions worldwide, having established a multi-level cooperative frame in the field of teaching and scientific research. TAFA invites long-term distinguished foreign experts and scholars as a visiting professors and launches international workshops, exchange student programs and overseas training for teachers. TAFA has established “3+1”, “2+1” mutual credit recognition programs with several art academies in France, the United States and Italy etc.. Approved by the Ministry of Education of PRC, the “3+1 Double Degree" cooperative program with the University of Hertfordshire has been successfully running for 4 years.
